    1. a) Open the Revit application

    b) Open new project,select template file and press OK

    c) Save the file in local computer

    d) Now the project has been created

    e) Name it as project 1

     

    2. a) Go to the file menu

    b) Save the file in local computer.

    c) Now the project has been created. Save it as example project 1

    3.a) Select architecture/structural from the tool bar

    b) Now line option is selected

    c) Enter the length of the wall in positive x direction as 40'

    d) Again enter the length of the wall in negative y direction as 35'

    e) Enter the length of the wall in negative x direction as 40'

    f) Again enter the length of the wall in positive y direction as 35'

    4. a) Go to the annotate tool bar

    b) Move to the aligned option for dimension

    c) Now select two faces of dimension which is to be found

    5. a) For the switching of the wall type browser properties is used 

    b) Click on the wall which is to be changed

    c) Click on the wall properties on the left side of the browser which can be saved as per user requirement

    6. a) Go to the 3D view tool bar

    b) Save the drawing

    7. a) For using the navigate tool option go to the 3D View

    b) Then select the orbit from the navigate tool option to rotate the object

                  

     

    8.  a) Visibility settings is used to change the visibility of the 3D object

    b) It can be wireframe, shaded , realistic  etc

    9. a) To turn the sun path on click on sunpath at the bottom of the workplane

    b) Sunpath can be done by on and off

    10. Manage is the important tool bar to execute the drawing. 

    a) Project Information:- Specifies energy data, project status and client information

    b) Project Parameter:- Specifies parameters that can be added to categories of elements in a project and used in schedule project parameters which cannot be shared with other projects or files

    11. Analyse helps to perform the structural analysis of a building. It can able to evaluate the performance of the building,as well as able to analyse the energy optimization of the building.

    12. Revit supports the following links:-

    a) Link Revit

    b) Link CAD

    c) Link IFC etc

    13. Collaborate enables to create a file such as cloud file and collaborate with team members so that team members can work simultaneously
