Aim:Creating a clash detection test between the two models
a. Run the Clash Detection Test
b. Study the clashes between the two models
c. List which of the clashes could be approved
d. List which of the clashes could be neglected ( will be taken care later)
e. List which of the clashes can be resolved
f. Save the results after color coding the clashes to the Navisworks file
g. In case of resolution annotate the clash and save the view to defined views in Navisworks
Procedure:
1.Opening the exported Architectural and structural file
2.Selecting the clash detective model on home tab
3.A tab in which 2 new tabs appears
4.Clicking on add test and renaming it as Architectural and Structural and clicking run test
Commands used:
Clash Detective
Add test
Result: Clash etective test is run successfully
5.Aim:Using the Timeliner feature in Navisworks prepare a schedule for the project developed in week 6 to 8 by adding reasonable assumptions for task start date and end date and simulate the task completion as a visual simulation. Record it and save the timeline simulation to Navisworks file
Procedure:
1.Opening the exported structural model to the naviswork
2. Clicking on the timeliner option and selecting the selection tree
3. Selecting the add task and renaming the appropriate components
4. The planned start, planned end, actual start and actual end is filled with appropriate dates
5. Specifing the task type as construction
Commands used:
