a. Architecture plan must have walls, floors, and all the components placed within the building
b. Structure plan must have details of only walls, floors, and columns

AIM:

Created architectural and structural plan based on previously saved project

INTRODUCTION:

Architectural and structural plan shown separately with their component

PROCEDURE:

STEP 1) OPEN MODEL

  • Launch the Revit software
  • Click on open and select previously created drawing as Arch_Drawing_chanllenge2

STEP 2) ARCHITECTURAL PLAN

RESULT:

Following the above procedure, we have created separately architectural and structural plan

4) Using annotate toolbar add dimensions to all the walls and floors with reference to the longitudinal and transverse grids created in the project file

a. The architecture plan dimensions include details on where the components are placed within the buildings with relation to grids. Overall dimensions are sufficient for architecture plans

b. The Structure plan dimensions must include details on the position of all the walls and interior walls with reference to grids. Locate all the framing components of the building with reference to a fixed point using Structural plans

AIM:

Added dimension in architectural and structural plan by using annotate toolbar

INTRODUCTION:

In the architectural and structural plan added dimension with respect to grids

PROCEDURE:

STEP 1) OPEN MODEL

  • Launch the Revit software
  • Click on open and select previously created drawing as Arch_Drawing_chanllenge2

STEP 2) ADD DIMENSION

  • Go to Project Browser in the Floor Plan double click on Ground Floor
  • Open Annotate tab select Aligned tool
  • Create dimension to the component from grids
  • Similarly for the structural plan

1-DIMENSION WITH COMPONENT

2-DIMENSION WITH STRUCTURAL MEMBER

RESULT:

Following the above procedure, we have added the dimension in the architecture and structure plan

5) Create a sheet template from the view tab and adjust the parameters on the sheet to add appropriate views

AIM:

Sheet template created from view tab and adjust the parameter

INTRODUCTION:

From the view tab to create a sheet template and adjust the parameter on the sheet to add the appropriate view

PROCEDURE:

STEP 1) OPEN MODEL

  • Launch the Revit software
  • Click on open and select previously created drawing as Arch_Drawing_chanllenge2

STEP 2) CREATE SHEET TEMPLATE

  • Go to View tab
  • Select Sheet from Sheet Composition panel
  • Open a new sheet dialog box click on Load
  • Open TITLEBLOCKS from library
  • Select appropriate sheet
  • Edit sheet title block as per view
  • Drag to insert the plan from project browser in sheet

STEP 3) ADD VIEW IN SHEET

  • From project browser select any view then drag to the sheet
  • after that from property browser change view scale to adjust the view
  • edit the parameter on the title block

RESULT:

Following the above procedure, create a sheet template from the view tab and adjust the parameter

6) Using the elevation tab create the elevation views, looking at your building from East, North, South, and West

AIM:

Created the elevation view of the building

INTRODUCTION:

From the view tab to create elevation views, looking at my building from East, North, South and West
